I've had 2 experiences with Yodel and both have been horrendous. In the first they said they tried to deliver, despite doing no such thing, and said they returned it to their depot. It sat there for days on end only to be declared "missing". The company from which I bought the item sent a replacement via a different delivery company, it arrived in time. Meanwhile the original 'lost' package turned up and was delivered too. Second experience is now. My item is already days late and, despite customer service (that Hell would be proud of) saying "see the app", the app, not Yodel's page updates for days, not until yesterday when I complained and complained and complained. Even then it only updated to an innocuous "Scanned as part of secure process", a phrase even their customer services can't tell me, beyond glib phrases, what it specifically means. Truly awful company. If you can find out THAT Yodel is involved in delivering why you want to buy, buy it elsewhere and tell the company why you won't buy from them. It's the only chance to change things. It may cost you a couple of quid more but at least you won't have to deal with Yodel.
