USPS review by John Patty

The only reason I am giving one star is because there is no option for zero stars. On January 7, 2020, I mailed a package from Greensboro, NC to Macomb, IL. It was a bottle of Italian beans weighing 32 oz. and costing $12.38 to mail which is outrageous to begin with. The package was a cardboard box in which the bottle was packed with bubble wrap and fragile was stamped all over it. It was suppose to arrive in Macomb by January 13th and didn't arrive until January 18th. The condition was exptremely damaged with the box smashed and wet, the bottle broken with the contents all over the place amidst the glass. This is totally unacceptable and the post office will not even stand behind the situation. A year or two ago, I mailed a box to the same destination-the box had been opened with the Pomangranite juice, chocolates and cheeses taken, leaving nothing but a box of crackers. This is how it was delivered indicating that postal workers are breaking into the boxes. I would like to attach the photos of this situation, but there is no way to do so.
