A package was collected from my home in London W13 last Friday. The Hermes courier left me a 'receipt' card labelled 'Sorry I missed you'. It had a bar code and 8 digit number under it. I tried tracking the number on Monday - it was not trackable. I tried contacting Hermes by 'phone. The phone is all automated and computer questions and answers - all in a loop - key in the code, try again, key in the correct code, etc. The 'phone call is charged at £6 (small print). Daylight robbery. I then found the Hermes online chat feature for help. We chatted - I left my email address and the code on the card but have heard nothing more since. Today, Wednesday, there is still no trace of my parcel. It's disappeared. Don't use Hermes! I have tried again today, Wednesday, and it is still not trackable.

The Hermes courier didn't turn up for 4 returns in 2 1/2 weeks so we had to break our staying at home rule to wait in risky long queue at our local Coop/Hermes shop. No way to contact the company and 'Holly' was useless only able to check parcels yet to be delivered.

Can’t give half a star. My parcel is over a week late, there is no real way of contacting the company apart from a robot answering service. Highly recommend you use another more reliable company.

Hermes has not processed my parcel for 9 days now. No one can help, and there is no number in the UK to speak to a person who can help. Incredibly bad customer service. This will be the last time I use Hermes for my business. Never again.

Terrible delivery service in the past have had broken and damaged goods due to careless handling and this obsession throwing parcels over Gates

Very poor service. I tracked my parcel delivered to a local shop on 1 March, it has been collected but not moved through Hermes system from 3 March. If it is paid postage Hermes automated service says have to contact them after 14 days. You cannot speak to a person.. I have given 2 stars as I could return it to a shop and the shop did as promised, sent it back through Hermes system. The automated service only gives stock answers so not helpful at all.

Hate using this company. They take 7-10 days to return items and don’t warn you about this. They also lost 2 of my items - one very expensive. Use Royal Mail. Safer and quicker

My parcel tracking said it was due to be delivered yesterday. Then it said at 10.45 am yesterday morning we’re sorry your parcel has been delayed it will be on the move again in the next 24 hours. Well it’s still saying this and it’s now 13:58☹️
